"Gibson Bin 60 is a barrel selection of the classic Australian blend which has stood the test of time. It is one of the best wines I have ever produced.

The vintage was a season of two parts, being moderate during fruit flavour development and extremely hot later in harvest, turning out well for the cooler sub districts, like Eden Valley and God’s Hill at Lyndoch. The spur pruned Barossa Cabernet Sauvignon (60%) has a reliable record of good varietal expression over many years. The rod and spur pruned Shiraz (40%) from 50 year old Eden Valley vines produced minute quantities of concentrated small berries with vibrant colour and intense flavours.

Tasting Notes

The Bin 60 is vibrant opaque, almost black in colour with purple hues. A lifted very complex nose of molasses and ripe berry leads on to herb & spice aromas. The palate is lively, bright & powerful with charming fruit sweetness and finishes beautifully dry with lingering vinosity. A harmonious symphony of entertainment which I hope you enjoy at the best of occasions.
