Gibson Wines is a family-owned boutique winery in the northern Barossa Valley, founded in 1996 by winemaker, viticulturist and geologist Rob Gibson. Known locally as “The Dirtman” for his deep fascination with soils and vineyards, Rob built Gibson Wines around the belief that great wine begins in the ground.
Today the winery is known for small-batch Shiraz, Riesling, and other varieties that reflect the character of Barossa vineyards, shaped by soil, site and decades of hands-on viticultural experience.
