Shipping policy

Minimum Order Requirements

Most of the wines purchased via our website need to purchased in multiples of six to facilitate efficient shipping. You will not be able to progress to the checkout unless you have added enough wines to your shopping cart. Magnums and wines over $100 can be purchased and shipped as single bottles. 

Standard Shipping

Our orders are shipped via the Australia Post Wine Service. Orders are generally dispatched within 2 business days of payment being processed, however there may be unavoidable delays over holiday periods (eg. Christmas & New Year) or during extreme weather events (see Extreme Weather Policy below).

Australia Post no longer requires a signature for delivery or collection. If there are special instructions required for your delivery, please enter them in the 'Special Instructions' field in the Shopping Cart (ie. before you reach the Checkout). 

Extreme Weather Policy

In the event of extreme weather, localised flooding or a heatwave (temperatures 35+ degrees Celsius) in South Australia, we reserve the right to hold orders and dispatch when the weather is more suitable in order protect the wine, our team and contractors. This may result in delays in delivery. If you would still like to arrange special freight during an extreme weather event, please email sales@gibsonwines.com.au for details.
