The two valleys which make up the Barossa are very different in climate and dirt. The cold mineral soils of the East provide acidity to the grapes and a minerality to the wine which provides the backbone for ageing. The warm red soils of the Northern floor complement this by giving fleshy generosity. Bringing them together allows us to craft a wine that celebrates classic Barossa Shiraz - charming plushness and harmonious depth of flavour.

Dirtborn Barossa reflects our spirit of prospecting. It began with Rob Gibson – The Dirtman – during his formative years as a geologist. We continue a keen-eyed search for what might be hidden, waiting to be revealed.
