2024 Duke Grenache

Adam, second generation at Gibson, is The Duke. Back in his footy days, legend has it he’d often be engaged in scuffle and melee, dukes-up in defence of his teammates. Duke Grenache carries that energy. It’s a story of lively exuberance versus boldness in wine style. 

Bright ruby-red in colour with a delicate pale crimson rim. The nose is lifted and floral, revealing fresh aromas of red cherry, cranberry, red apple skin and wild bramble. Medium-bodied on the palate, the wine is vibrant and well balanced, showing crunchy red fruit flavours of bramble and cherry stone layered with subtle hints of red apple skin. A gentle thread of white pepper spice adds complexity, leading into a long, savoury finish supported by fine, persistent tannins.
