Crimson in color, this wine exudes richness and warmth, offering enticing aromas of sweet spiced plum and vanilla bean. The palate begins with a seductive entry of ripe, luscious fruit, revealing a deep core of dark blackberry. A generous, velvety mouthfeel carries through to a smooth, lingering finish, leaving a lasting impression. Sourced from the Barossa Valley and Eden Valley, this wine was aged for 18 months in new and matured American oak hogsheads.

Tasting Notes

Deep opaque purple red. Lifted complex plum and spice characters on the nose. The palate is medium bodied with black cherry and savoury herb and spice notes. It is well balanced with oak vanilla flavours. The finish is powdery dry, leaving spicy, cherry pip flavours lingering on the palate. It shows all the hallmarks of world class Shiraz treated with good oak maturation to produce a great wine with good ageing potential.
