2016 Barossa Old Vine Shiraz
2016 Barossa Old Vine Shiraz
Deep crimson in color, this Barossa Valley wine presents a bold, concentrated profile with dark black fruits, complemented by notes of black pepper, leather, and licorice. The firmly structured palate reveals flavours of black fruits and persistent dark chocolate, with seamless tannins providing excellent length and balance. A powerful and enduring finish completes this wine, aged for 24 months in new and matured French oak.
Tasting Notes
Tasting Notes
Dark plum, purple hue. Lifted savoury spice, Shiraz characters showing bottle development on the nose with subtle notes of spice, rosemary and stewed plums.
The palate is full, round and very complex and shows all the hallmarks of great Shiraz with fine oak maturation. Developing vinosity now with bottle age.
