We’re thrilled to announce that Empire Liquor is our new wholesale distributor for South Australia, commencing on 1st July 2023. This is the first time that we’ve been represented by a full-service wholesale distributor in the SA market.
Gibson joins Empire’s portfolio of fine Australian and international wines, alongside a collection of prominent local producers including d’Arenberg and Glaetzer. Empire Liquor, founded in 1978, is one of South Australia’s longest standing specialist liquor distributors.
Empire have held the South Australian distribution of a number of brands for over 45 years, working primarily with family-owned estates. Alongside wine, Empire also distributes a collection of premium ales, from Munich’s celebrated Hofbraü (HB) München, to Barossa craft brewery, Rehn. In recent years, it has also added a range of British beers, of which Empire source exclusively from the country of origin.
This new relationships means that our wines will be available in many more locations around the state. If your local restaurant or bottle shop does not stock your favourite Gibson wine yet, ask them to contact Empire Liquor.
