Gibson’s selection of premium Barossa wines will be available to the on and off-premise trades in Far North and Central Queensland from April, joining LG Wine & Liquor for wholesale distribution.
It enables Gibson’s wines to be available to independent retail and hotels, restaurants and cafes for the first time in FNQ and Central Queensland, through formalised distribution.
LG Wine & Liquor was founded in 2020 by Laurie Greenwood. Based in Cairns, Greenwood has over 20 years’ experience in the industry, previously with Lion Nathan and Samuel Smith & Son, prior to establishing his own business. He has quickly established a specialisation in wine list creation for venues, wine events and supply to independent retail groups.

LG’s territory will span from Rockhampton Northward to Weipa, and West to Mt Isa and Longreach. Gibson joins Bird in Hand, Ricca Terra and Quinn Wines, amongst others, in the LG Wine & Liquor portfolio.
