Gibson Wines will be available in Fiji from early 2022, joining wholesale distributor Lawhill Limited, and their associated ‘Indulge’ retail outlets across the island nation.
Lawhill was established in 1988, having commenced as a specialist coffee bean and equipment supplier into the Fijian hospitality sector. It has since grown to incorporate an international wine importing arm and its self-operated wine and food retail outlets. Eight ‘Indulge’ stores and cafes are located on Denarau and the main island, Viti Livu.
In addition to being ranged in the Indulge store network, Gibson’s wines will be available in Fiji in selected hotels and restaurants.
Lawhill is owned and operated by Neil Underhill. A Fijian citizen, Neil fell in love with wine after a chance meeting with industry stalwart, Sir James Hardy, during his boarding school and university years in Sydney.
“We’re thrilled to be adding Gibson to our portfolio of wines as a classic, family-operated Barossa producer”, said Neil. With Fiji’s tourism welcoming international arrivals from December, and reports of many Aussies heading our way, Gibson’s selection available here will offer a taste of home on holiday”, he added.
