Yes, we are still open and trading as normal. We do recommend booking so you can ensure a seat inside, our cellar door is compact in size.

Seated tastings have been very well received and we are continuing to host them in this format. Most other requirements haven’t changed.

Gibson Wines, following the release of the South Australian Government/SA Health COVID-19 Test, Trace, Isolate and Quarantine (TTIQ) guidelines, introduced from 23 November 2021, will implement a house policy with respect to unvaccinated guests visiting our Cellar Door venue.

This policy is in the interests of keeping our staff and community safe, whilst respecting the rights of you as a guest.

From 23/11/2021, Gibson Wines will strongly recommend all vaccine-eligible public visitors to our Cellar Door are up-to-date with their COVID-19 vaccination status.

If you are not up-to-date with your COVID-19 vaccination, we ask that you notify our staff before entering. Unvaccinated guests can still enjoy the services of Gibson Wines, however to protect our staff and other guests, we will adopt a separate service procedure as part of our Cellar Door experience.

If you wish to not enter the premises on this basis, we welcome the use of our online shopping facility at www.gibsonwines.com.au

Gibson is the perfect pre or post-lunch destination. With so many delicious food options in the Barossa, we will stick to what we know best – wine.

We have plenty of lawn games on hand including Finska and bocce to enjoy on our cellar door lawns.

We love a well behaved pooch. Dogs are more than welcome to join you in our outdoor areas. Please keep them on lead, with you at all times and clean up after them in the bins provided.

Yes, Day with The Dirtman experience includes guided access into a selection of vineyards. To protect our vines from transferable pests and diseases such as Phylloxera, it is a requirement that guests disinfest footwear before and after entering any vineyard sites. An appropriate disinfesting solution for footwear will be provided to guests on the day.

Absolutely not! You will be asked to complete a pre-tour questionnaire so the day can be tailored to you. Part of this questionnaire asks about your prior wine knowledge and what you wish to get out of the experience.

The tour incorporates vineyard walks, a stop off in Angaston at local suppliers and time at our Winery and Cellar Door. Neat, comfortable casual is the best option.

Ladies – if you like to wear heels, stick to the chunky heeled version for this tour. You will thank us later!
